Piper DF5 Formula Continental (Zetec)
 The Piper DF5 Formula Continental can accommodate both the 2.0L Ford Pinto and the 2.0L Ford Zetec engines.   In Zetec trim the DF5 can be run in SCCA Formula Continental, the F2000 Championship Series, and the Pacific F2000 Series.
 
Fast Forward Components CNC machines all the parts for the DF5 in house, ensuring everything meets our stringent demands for quality.  4340 -300M gundrilled axles and stub-axles are standard, as are billet 7075 Al uprights and hubs on all four corners. All steel and aluminum components are plated for protection.
 
The chassis is constructed of 4130 tubing.  Highly desirable 4130 streamline tubing is used to fabricate the a-arms, pushrods, suspension links, and steering links.
 
Each Piper DF5 Formula Continental is delivered with a Hewland LD200 transmission prepared by Williams Racing Developments and a Fast Forward Components aluminum differential.
 
The DF5  features a very efficient bodywork package that produces a significant amount of downforce, while keeping drag to a minimum.  The entire body is made from strong, but lightweight fiberglass composite.  A rear diffuser designed specifically for the DF5, as well as Pennon Composites race proven front and rear wings are standard.

Cars are sold as rollers less dash and exhaust.
